Down on the river the boat was a-sinking, she watched that queen go under

Hello and belated Merry Christmas to all.
Today is one of the coldest days in North Florida in recent memory. It looks very wintry outside and so, for once, we have on long dresses and skirts to keep warm.
What do we do when one of us is wearing a sparkly red Indian skirt and the other is wearing a faded antique wedding dress?
We go to the woods and run around in circles of course.
We both look a little like Stevie Nicks fans today, but it happens...
So because of this, every caption is a lyric from the 60s or 70s. If you can identify which songs and which artists you get bonus points.

All that's missing is a tambourine...

It don't snow here, stays pretty green
gonna make a lot of money and quit this crazy scene
climbed a mountain and I turned around
someone told me there's a girl out there

with love in her eyes
and flowers in her hair

seashell eyes, windy smile, calls me.

Her hair of floating sky is shimmering, glimmering. In the sun.

She stands on the banks of the mighty Mississippi, Alone in the pale moonlight

Waiting for a man, a riverboat gambler, said that he'd return tonight.

Evangeline, Evangeline. Curses the soul of the Mississippi Queen, that pulled her man away

round about and everywhere sunshine instead of snow

caps of blue and silver sunlight for your hair

Was it just a dream, was it just a dream

seemed so very real, seemed so real to me

One more song about moving along the highway

Doesn't anybody stay in one place anymore?

It would be so fine to see your face at my door
